Bank of America’s “Superblock” project in Charlotte, North Carolina includes the construction of a 32-story, 750,000 square foot office tower across from its corporate headquarters. The new office tower is designed to house approximately 1,200 Bank of America associates and other office tenants. It will feature a glass-enclosed atrium and winter garden for hosting special events, a 200-seat state-of-the-art auditorium, seven conference rooms, as well as retail shops and expanded skyway connected to the neighboring Founders Hall tower. By seeking gold LEED certification, this project is slated to be one of the most environmentally conscious spaces in the region.
