The Dallas Fort Worth Airport Capitol Improvement Program addresses the security concerns and required upgrades as directed by the Federal Aviation Administration and Homeland Security as well as other Airport directed upgrades and changes.  The Project Team consists of both a Program Management Group as well as a Construction Management Group. Each project is estimated and scheduled by the Program Management Group and then presented to the Board of Directors of the Airport for approval.  Once approved, each project is added to the Capitol Improvement Program for construction by the Construction Management Group.  Currently, there is approximately $200M worth of work being performed by the Team as follows:

Security upgrades Terminal B; including baggage screening and conveyor solutions

Security upgrades Terminal E; including baggage screening and conveyor solutions

Security upgrades Terminal C; including baggage screening and conveyor solutions

Interim Screening Solutions

Miscellaneous Airlines Renovations

Miscellaneous HVAC Renovations

Medical Facilities upgrades and construction

Plans for an additional terminal, taxiway reconfiguration and façade replacement are in the budgeting and programming phase.
