The Valdosta State University Parking Decks project consists of two parking decks totaling 640,000 SF and 40,000 SF of Auxiliary space for the Police, Campus IT, Auxiliary Services, etc. The exterior architecture is Spanish mission style with stucco and clay tile roofs. The decks are designed to be focal points on the campus with the Oak Street Deck centered at the Historic Campus Center and the Sustella Deck being for student housing and the Campus Transportation Center. The structural system for the decks is prestressed-precast concrete on shallow foundations.
