The Legacy at Castleberry Hill, a $13.2 million, multi-use complex, is a flagship development for H.J. Russell & Company. Russell New Urban Development LLC, a subsidiary of the company, served as the project’s developer, while H. J. Russell & Company served as the contractor. Financial partners included Rees Design Associates, First Union Community Development Corp., Johnson Studios and Southern Business Furnishings. Mining the richness of a city’s history, the Legacy at Castleberry Hill stands as an Atlanta landmark around the company’s headquarters. The primary elements of The Legacy at Castleberry Hill — The Legacy Lofts, Intown Lofts, Paschal‚s Restaurant and Castleberry Inn — prove the theory and practice of successful mixed-use urban development, showing how one neighborhood can provide amenities to residents, visitors and merchants alike. Spread across four acres, the development strikes the balance between convenience and retention of neighborhood appeal, while creating an everchanging mix of locals and visitors.

• The Legacy Lofts offers modern city living to those who relish proximity to Atlanta’s downtown. Ranging between 1,035 and 1,380 square feet, each unit provides ample room for families as well as those seeking open space.

• For corporate travelers and tourists, The Castleberry Inn provides an ideal focal point from which to access Atlanta. A 200-unit extended stay Facility, the inn has become a coveted destination since it opened in 2001. Amenities include shuttle service, an exercise room, lounge and courtyard.
