Russell has completed several projects for the DeKalb County Schools. The Lithonia Middle project entailed the renovation and conversion of an existing high school into a middle school with a new constructed addition. The school has a total of sixty-nine instructional units which include forty classrooms, thirteen labs, two music rooms, a physical education room, six special services rooms, a media center, three team planning rooms and three career and technical service rooms. The Southwest DeKalb High project included the construction of an approximate 19,000 SF new addition, and the complete floor-to-ceiling renovation of 172,000 SF of the existing facility. Stone Mountain Middle is a state-of-the-art multi-level structure comprised of a 3-story classroom wing and single story technical and administrative wings. It is constructed over a 40-acre site.
