Russell provided General Construction Services on the East Tower Medical Arts Building at Baptist Hospital, Miami. The 10 story, 130,000 s.f. structure will feature state-of-the-art medical facilities and offer services not found elsewhere in South Florida. The East Tower development ties directly to the recently added West Tower, chosen by BOMA International as its first medical "Office Building of the Year". The design concept carries forth the traditional Florida architecture and colors that make Baptist Hospital such a landmark. The East Tower features: office suites for up to 1,000 doctors; an outpatient surgery center; physical therapy center, and state-of-the-art HVAC, energy management, life safety, and emergency generators as part of the basic building systems.
