General Construction
This 52-story granite and glass office tower serves as headquarters for Georgia Pacific. The tower is 1.36 million s.f. and features an art gallery/museum in the massive open lobby. The tower also houses a television station and a health club. The 30-month schedule for construction required the strict management of resources and labor in order to efficiently work in this central downtown location. The project was completed on time and on budget, and the building remains one of the landmark points on the Atlanta skyline.
