H. J. Russell & Company began offering property management services in the 1960's. Over the last thirty plus years, Russell has established itself as a leader in Affordable Housing Management and has a proven successful track record in the management of conventional, tax credit and high-end multifamily communities.

Today, we manage more than 6,000 units throughout the country and have developed, built and managed over forty successful residential communities throughout the Southeast. We are the largest management agent of assisted properties in the State of Georgia, as well as one of the first managers of privatized public housing in the country. Additionally, we are active participants in the Hope IV program which replaces dilapidated public housing with new and diverse mixed income communities. Additionally, Russell also manages luxury communities in downtown Atlanta.

Key Performance Indicators
During H.J. Russell & Company's thirty plus years of operation, it has gained an experience-based understanding of what we call "key Performance Indicators (KPI)". These KPI's measure a property's performance and its long-term viability by identifying, monitoring and pro-actively responding to opportunities for improvement. Through process "check points and controls points", operations are monitored daily, weekly and yearly to ensure consistency and continuity of operations.
