H. J. Russell & Company provided construction services for the Methodist Celina Medical Facility, a new healthcare facility developed to support expanding medical services in one of North Texas’s fastest growing communities. The project reflects Russell’s expertise in delivering modern, patient-centered healthcare environments that align with Methodist Health System’s mission of compassionate, high quality care.
The a new medical facility features a four-story, 200,000-square-foot hospital and a 25,000-square-foot
POB. The Campus is on a spacious 46-acre site adjacent to Dallas North Tollway and FM428. Notably, the hospital is constructed on a carton form slab to address the challenges posed by expansive soils.
The Acute Care Hospital includes 30 medical-surgical beds, 10 post-partum beds, 10 intensive care unit
beds, 12 emergency department beds, 2 operating rooms, and shell space for future expansion, as well
as a Cath Lab. A highlight of the campus is the presence of a da Vinci surgical robot in the operating
room, showcasing Methodist Celina’s commitment to advanced healthcare solutions.
