H. J. Russell & Company Welcomes Ryan Little as Vice President of Environmental Health and Safety
ATLANTA, GA — H. J. Russell & Company is pleased to announce that Ryan Little has joined the organization as Vice President of Environmental Health and Safety. In this role, Little will lead the company’s environmental health and safety efforts, helping advance Russell’s safety culture and strengthen how the company protects its people, partners, and communities.
Little brings more than 25 years of environmental health and safety leadership experience in the construction industry. He has built a strong track record of improving safety performance, strengthening compliance, reducing risk, and helping teams build safer jobsites. His experience spans heavy civil, industrial, and commercial construction.
Prior to joining H. J. Russell & Company, Little held environmental health and safety leadership roles across the construction industry, where he developed deep experience in safety strategy, compliance, training, incident investigation, and risk management.
As Vice President of Environmental Health and Safety, Little will lead Russell’s safety strategy, support compliance efforts, strengthen training and certification programs, and partner with teams across Construction, Program Management, and corporate services to improve safety performance companywide. He will also help strengthen a culture where safety is embedded in every phase of Russell’s work.
“Ryan brings the experience, leadership, and steady approach needed to strengthen our safety culture across the organization,” said Michael Swick, Senior Vice President of Construction Management. “His background and commitment to the field make him a strong addition to our team as we continue prioritizing the well-being of our people and the successful delivery of our work.”
Little holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health & Safety from Murray State University and was appointed to the Georgia Tech Advisory Committee, where he contributed executive-level insight to the development and implementation of a Master’s Program in Occupational Safety and Health.
“I’m committed to building a first-class safety organization that prioritizes the people we work with every day,” said Ryan Little. “That means strengthening our safety programs, supporting our teams in the field, and being responsible partners to our owners and the communities where we build. By establishing strong foundations today, we’re positioning our organization for the next era of growth.”
With Little’s leadership, H. J. Russell & Company continues to strengthen the people, programs, and standards that keep safety at the center of every project.
