at Methodist Richardson Medical Center, enhancing the hospital’s ability to serve a growing patient
population while maintaining uninterrupted emergency services. The project was executed within an
active healthcare environment, requiring precise phasing, infection control measures, and close
coordination with hospital operations.

The emergency department expansion required careful phasing and coordination to maintain continuous
operations while expanding the building footprint and adding two floors above the active department.
Through detailed planning, frequent coordination meetings, and close collaboration with hospital staff on
schedules and work plans, the team successfully minimized operational disruptions and maintained
uninterrupted emergency services.
