The SBP3A project is an 80 to 100 MW greenfield data center designed for energy efficiency, resiliency, and scale. The 330,000 square foot facility features two large data halls supported by high-efficiency mechanical and electrical systems, containment strategies, and scalable power distribution. Robust redundancy protects critical loads, while diverse, fiber-connected network systems support high-performance computing and rapid growth. The design emphasizes reliability, maintainability, and safe access so operations teams can manage the environment with confidence.
Delivered by Whiting-Turner and H. J. Russell & Company, the team is navigating permitting delays, long-lead procurement, and phased coordination across trades and vendors. The facility includes full UPS and generator backup, detailed MOPs and SOPs, and a commissioning program that validates performance from component to integrated systems testing. Multiple layers of security protect the site and the data, including biometrics, access control, video monitoring, and 24/7 surveillance. Together, these measures create a durable platform for customers who require consistent uptime and verifiable performance.
