H. J. Russell & Company led the renovation of the Fulton County Assembly Hall Auditorium, a key civic venue located within the Fulton County Government Center in downtown Atlanta. The Assembly Hall serves as a primary space for Board of Commissioners meetings, public hearings, ceremonies, and large-scale community gatherings. The renovation modernized the auditorium to improve functionality, accessibility, and the overall experience for both officials and the public.
The project focused on upgrading interior finishes, seating, acoustics, lighting, and technology to support modern meeting needs. Enhancements were designed to improve sound quality, visibility, comfort, and operational efficiency while maintaining the civic character of the space. Advanced audio visual capabilities were incorporated to support closed captioning and video conferencing, enabling more inclusive and effective meeting management.
Through these improvements, the renovated Assembly Hall now provides a more accessible, flexible, and technologically advanced environment that supports transparent governance and community engagement. The updated space enhances Fulton County’s ability to host meetings and events while meeting current accessibility standards and evolving public service needs.
Installation of new auditorium lighting and upgraded electrical systems to support enhanced AV infrastructure
