H. J. Russell & Company (Russell), along with the City of Stockbridge and architectural firm, Tunnell-Spanger-Walsh & Associates (TSW), will be the first team to manage, design and build Henry County’s first amphitheater in the history of the county and the City of Stockbridge. The multi-million dollar Stockbridge amphitheater is expected to be completed in 2020 and will hold up to 3,000 people.

Russell is charged with building the actual amphitheater and the five accompanying buildings and parking. The large-scale project includes new parking spaces, an entry plaza, a pre-function plaza, VIP-covered viewing boxes, terraced lawn seating, a permanent sound booth covered-structure, outdoor stadium seating, an elevated walkway, egress stairs and ramps, and sidewalks. In addition, the amphitheater will have five buildings which will include a two-story 4,685 square foot stage pavilion with an enclosed green room, a one-story 1,923-square-foot will-call building, a one-story 1,962-square-foot main restroom building, and two one-story 1,933-square-foot concession buildings.
