The MDN 3A Data Center is an 80 MW, large-scale campus anchored by a 288,000 SF building shell and fit-out and a 165,000 SF central utility plant. The program includes a main distribution area (MDA), on-site substation, facility support zones, and secured yards. The structure is founded on approximately 2,700 drilled piers. At completion, the secured campus expanded from 63 acres to 113 acres of operational space.
H. J. Russell & Company delivered the project in joint venture with Whiting-Turner and Source Building Group under a Design–Bid–Build approach. The team coordinated utility loops, managed price escalation, aligned diverse stakeholders, and executed rigorous QA/QC and commissioning. All work met strict security requirements and schedule expectations.
